In Season 1, back in 2020 and 2021, we explored women in career and met some incredible souls. We realized the importance of curiosity, purpose, community, and in recognizing the career issues we face in community driven work. 12 million women left their careers in covid. We connected in this time to emphasize the work we are doing but also to have sisterhood in a dark time. Just being a woman, trying to stay female, while also in our power, in a patriarchy is challenging. These were challenging times and we navigated together through. We are in a time of a great shift and we are grateful to tap back into this community together, for integration and renewal work.

Here in 2024 and 2025, we are back and better than ever, and very different than we were mid-covid. Many have left jobs, started companies, had babies, stopped engaging in social media, and expanded and contracted beyond our wildest beliefs. All is welcome here.

In Season 2, we are checking back in with Season 1 guests, exploring new creatures, those who merge spirit and career and have a story to tell. Many will teach listeners how they have navigated through life into their authentic ways and how they have expanded in spirit along the way.

We are also digging into the amazing companies, many emerging through Mel’s network and work efforts today. Most are aiming to help improve the human and/or planet condition in some way. Permaculture is a main theme of her work and life now and is here as a theme to ponder over.

We are a place to let stories grow. The first integration podcast, allowing women to add to what they said the seasons before.

We will explore how women integrate profound life experiences and navigate post covid times, the conscious feminine, as well as how we are bringing our ideas into the world, without losing who we are in the process.

Women from season 1 have sold, lost and left companies, they have created new companies, expanded on past ideas, manifested new life (many babies!), and so much more. If we grow in life, so should our stories. This is a living and breathing podcast and blog.

Here on The MELROSE Show, the Decision Society Season, we are building community that focuses on helping humans while birthing fantasy in our human-ness, We focus especially on women and minorities, to help others make smart decisions around career, growth and integration.
